Resurrection On a large expanse of black canvas we began painting in the shade of a lush bamboo plant. We had two new brushes to try. He must have really liked them because as I paused for a paint refill, he dropped his brush, picked it up and continued painting. This particular painting is full of symbolism, with a figure lying on the ground with a bleeding hand. Strokes of metallic gray and white appear to escape from the head of the image. In the center looks as if a figure rises arms outstretched over the flurry of swirled brush strokes. Beneath the figure appears a large white horse.
