Painting Horse - Ponies in the Surf

Shortly before we painted this one, I had read an amazing story about a group of adventurous children in Hawaii who took their Welsh Ponies swimming at the beach. As it turned out, the ponies would wait for the waves with riders on their backs, then let the waves carry them back toward the beach with surf crashing about. If this painting is hung vertically it looks like there is a white horse (Welsh Pony?) standing amidst splashes of white, blue and silver. Maybe Romeo wants to go to Hawaii too!
